Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Marketing’s (Farm Superstores) net profits fell 11.5% year-on-year to SAR 22.53 million in the first quarter of 2017 from SAR 25.45 million.
The company attributed the decrease in profits to the increase in offers and deductions for customers, in addition to lower sales of categories with a high profit margin.
Revenues rose 1.93% to SAR 491.5 million in Q1-17 compared to SAR 482.2 in Q1-16, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.
